A vigorous China rose with a bushy habit, almost evergreen with bronzy coloured new foliage, and thornless, decorated most of the year with single cherry red flowers. Height 1.5m Spread 1.5m Hardy.
I had this rose listed as 'Bengal Red' until I tracked down it's provenance. I got it from Pershore College, who got it from Bob Brown at Cotswold Garden Flowers. Bob tells me he got it from Helen Dillon the famous Irish gardener and plantswoman.
