A dense shrub with leaves bright yellow, turning red in autumn. Clusters of bright purplish-pink flowers from mid to late summer.
Height and spread (after 10 years) 1m x 1m.
A cultivar exclusive to me, which arose here as a seedling between 'Gold Flame' and 'Golden Princess'. Somebody with a better knowledge of all the Spiraea cultivars will tell me that it is not sufficiently different from something else to warrant a name of its own; until then I shall keep propagating it because it has all the vigour of a hybrid and is an excellent doer.
